ABOUT TENTACLE GRAPE: Tentacle Grape is a sweet purple concoction that has become well known in the anime convention circuit in the past few years due to it’s clever theming. Most are in German but a few do have English docs and descriptions as well. They also produce several non BBS utilities as well. Several utilitys for Remoteaccess BBS from a once RA Sysop. Automated posting of those boaring messages a busy sysop needs to send to his users. Of course, once you have the “not posting” momentum, it’s easy to keep on going. As of the 0.128u4 release, several important CPU cores have been converted, but more work is still pending in this direction. This article explains the motivation and reasoning behind these changes, and what still needs to be done. Thus, a major motivation behind the changes in MAME 0.128u4 is to make it possible to eventually get rid of the CPU context switching. In order to do this, we must save off CPU A’s state (both CPU and memory state), and load up CPU B’s state, thus making CPU B the “active” CPU.
Now let’s say CPU A performs some action which causes it to modify CPU B’s memory space. Now CPU A performs the same action which causes it to modify CPU B’s memory space. Completing this work was a necessary precursor to eliminating the CPU context switching. In anticipation of these changes, I’ve been doing some work to modernize the 16-bit Sega drivers, which have languished a bit since they were so unnecessarily intertwined. Of course, I was immediately curious to know if this meant they had revived my now years-old work to port the games, and it turns out that yes, some of my work is finally seeing the light of day! Once you figure out the clock, then the direction of each transition tells you what the actual value of the bit is. It is easiest to get a grasp on siphonophores by first taking a look at physonects and then looking at how the other two groups differ from them. There are a few cases in the cystonects and physonects where the long stem has been reduced to a bulbous structure. The different types of zooids in the siphosome are arranged in a species specific, repeating pattern along the stem.
Each iteration of this pattern is known as a cormidium. Several RA utilities were deveoped here by Michael Heliker & Steve Blinch, including TurboEdit, TurboChat, TurboCheck, TurboNews and TurboBank. Several RA Utils by Mark Williamson including Labtest were here. Several nice utils for RemoteAccess are developed here in Russia. Several nice RA utils are available here, along with screen shots. A few RA utils are developed here, including RA-Renumberer which renumbers your RA 2.50 file areas so that all the numbers are in sequencial order. A Dutch group of coders that made several great RA utilities including RAF-ANSWER, RAF-MENU, Online User Editor, MSGEDIT, and several others. Grischa Brockhaus develops several RA utilities in Germany, including SkullCheck (upload processor), RAV (remote archive viewer), FastDupe (filebase dupe searcher), and Ratomic (upload nuker/mover/credit). A RA compatible upload archive tester by David Muir. The Automated Maintenance Utility for RA by David Hickey. AMU incorporates many differnt RA maintenance features into a single utility. MAME 0.1 was derived from Nicola’s Multi-Pac emulator, which emulates Pac-Man based hardware, consisting simply of a single Z80 CPU.
The main problem with running more than one Z80 CPU at a time is that the Z80 CPU emulator stored the state of the CPU in global variables. At the time (remember this is back in the days of the 386 and DOS), it was faster to fetch data from global variables than to allocate memory for each Z80 and reference all the CPU state via a pointer. In order to remove memory context switching, the state of the memory subsystem needed to be moved out of global variables and into allocated memory. At this point, the global variables contain the state of the second Z80, https://hentaisister.net/hentai-tag/tentacles/ and it can be executed normally. Bracts, which are so modified that it is not known whether they are polyps or medusae, are structures that in many species grow so large that the other zooids can pull between them when the colony is startled. Reproductive structures are also found in the siphosome. Calycophorans differ from physonects in that they don’t have a pneumatophore, only a nectosome and siphosome. A variety of other zooids are also present in the siphosome. This works because Manchester codes encode a ‘0’ bit as 10 and a ‘1’ bit as 01. Because of this, you are guaranteed that in the middle of each bit there is a transition from black to white or vice-versa, and this can be used to establish the clock.
